SCROLL

What is Cataract?

Cataract is one of the world's most common causes of blindness. This condition is caused by aging, disease such as diabetes or physical trauma. But nowadays younger patients are already experiencing cataracts due to varying causes. People with cataracts experience blurry vision, sensitive to light and glare. Surgery is the ultimate way to treat cataracts.

We conduct Phaco surgery for cataract treatment. It involves the removal of a clouded lens and replaced by plastic lens that is inserted in the eye. It is done by an advanced machine that performs precise movements and specific steps in cataract surgery that traditionally have been performed with hand-held surgical procedures.

Phaco (Phacoemulsification) is the procedure that breaks a cloudy lens into pieces, removes it, and then replaces it with a proper artificial lens to restore your vision.
