What is Retinopathy?
Retinopathy is a common term referring to a number of eye diseases caused by disorders on the retina. This is the second cause of permanent blindness, following cataract. Depending on the retinopathy conditions, different treatments may be applied by doctors.

​The retinopathy treatment aims to prevent further damage to the retina and maintain the vision as it was right before the treatment. Due to the complexity of the individual's natural disposition and the severity of the disease, the treatment effectiveness, and post-treatment vision cannot be fully prognoses.
